TEMPLET FOR HEALTH (spiritual)

TEMPLET FOR HEALTH (Spiritual)

1.) Total peace. The peace that passes all understanding can only come from above.  It is not from within but from without.  It comes from the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, and produces a gentle and quiet spirit.

2.) Total joy and fulfillment.  As we walk in our calling and are fulfilled in so doing, tremendous joy results.

3.) Total contentment.  As we realize that this isn’t our true home, and that we will have trouble here, we are totally satisfied whether we are abased, or we abound.

4.) Totally undeserving.  We acknowledge that the blessings are from above.  We are what we are, and we have what we have because of Him.  We are totally undeserving of our so-called accomplishments.

5.) Totally thankful.  Because of the above we have a heart that is full of thanksgiving and praise for the many gifts (primarily eternal life) that we have been given.

6.) Total acceptance; total love.  We accept and love who we are, as God made us such.  And equally important is that we accept and love others for who they are as God made them such; even though we are different. Love casts out all fear.  Love covers a multitude of sin.  Love does not seek its own. Let’s just put 1 Corinthians 13 right here.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is [d]perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

7.) Total forgiveness.  How many times shall I forgive, Lord?  “Seventy times seven.”  Set yourself free from the chains that unforgiveness and bitterness bind you.  “You have been forgiven, now freely forgive others, their trespass against you.”

8.) Total freedom.  Whether slave or free, rich or poor, black or white, the wrong side of town or not, freedom comes from within and flows out.  Who the Son sets free is free indeed.  Your continence shows.

9.) Totally trusting.  He will provide the sacrifice, He will provide the lamb.  He will provide everything.  No worries.  Come to him as a child and cry Abba Father.

10.) Be totally sober.  He has come once as The Suffering Servant.  We look for His soon coming return as judge.  Be vigilant and occupy till He comes.  Keep your wicks trimmed and you lamps filled with oil.
