My country tis of thee

My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
In our society we all set goals and have dreams. That is good. We all have an inert creative spirit in us. It is good to set goals and have dreams. We live in a country (USA) where we have the freedom to pursue our dreams and have multiple tools to help us achieve those goals. To top it off we live in a country where we can enjoy the fruit of our labors. Yes, we have taxes, which is another topic, but what we achieve isn’t taken away from us by the state.
To the young people, reach for the stars. Never forget your country, the sweet land of liberty, tis of thee, that I sing. You have the freedom to make your grievances known in a peaceful manner. But never disrespect the gift that our Heavenly Father gave us. I have a new saying for our country. Don’t trash but tweak. The framework is solid. We do not ever want to fundamentally change our great nation. To do that would make it crumble. Its greatness would be no more.
What I am saying is to sing about her (USA). To proclaim her goodness in the streets. Those that go to the streets to trash her are a sorry lot. May God above, protect us from those within, who desire to bring us down. Descend on our enemies with a vengeance.
We are in covenant with you. We so desire to be a Holy People. Set apart for your great work in this world. As we put our plow to the fields, each one of us doing our part, each one of us setting and achieving our goals, blessing you the whole time, bless us accordingly oh Lord. Keep us safe from harm.
I don’t know what the future holds for this great nation. All I know is that we must hold true to our Biblical values and pursue righteousness and peace. But if we fail in this covenant. If we don’t live righteously this gift of ours can be taken away.
We must face this reality. Covenants have conditions. Why do you think that we have been blessed all of these years. Did it just happen. No. It was the principles that we were founded on. And if the majority of our people no longer hold to those truths, then God may lift his hand of blessing and protection.
I’m no prophet. I’m just a praying person who likes to write. But I know history. I know why kingdoms fall. Let me just say, whether our republic will stand or not in the days to come, you hold true to your Christian values. Don’t waver. Don’t compromise. Hold on to truth and goodness and peace and forgiveness.
Make sure that your heart and mind and spirit are ready for whatever may happen. Keep your faith. Hold on tight. Don’t let go.
As for now keep singing of our great country. Sing of the liberty that we enjoy. The ending verses of “America” end this way:
Our father's God, to Thee, Author of liberty, To Thee we sing:
Long may our land be bright With freedom's holy light;
Protect us by Thy might, Great God, our King!
Source: U.S. Army Song Book, 1918
We sing about our great nation while at the same time singing about our great God and our King.
With our hands in His, the bounty will be, oh sweet land, of liberty.
